HCA Walk With A Doc Events Are Back For 2024!

Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates is excited to announce that our Walk with a Doc events are back this spring! We are proud to have been part of this international initiative for six years, inviting patients to add exercise to their healthy heart regimen while having the opportunity to have their questions answered by our physicians. HCA physicians will rotate each month, giving a short talk on heart-health recommendations followed by a walk with anyone interested in joining at their own pace.

2024 Schedule

Select Saturdays 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

  • May 4th – Dr. Rupen Parikh at Mine Brook Park
  • June 1st – Dr. Harnish Chawla at Mine Brook Park
  • July 6th – Dr. Andrew Rudnick at Mine Brook Park
  • August 3rd – Dr. Daniel Kobe at Mine Brook Park
  • September 7th – Dr. Christopher Garcia and Dr. Kiera Farry at Duke Island Park
  • October 12th – Dr. Yaser Elnahar at Mine Brook Park

Healthy snacks and water are provided during the walks. Everyone is invited to join, including our patients who may bring their children, spouses, family, and friends along for the walk.

What started as a small practice initiative by cardiologist Dr. David Sabgir in 2005 to encourage his patients to make real behavioral change through walking, the Walk with a Doc program has now grown internationally with over 500 chapters worldwide. Patients enjoy connecting to their providers in an enjoyable and informal way, and they show up energized and ready to move.

Registration is requested! Please call 908-788-1710 ext. 250 or email [email protected] to sign up or for more information.

If this is your first walk, please sign our waiver and enter chapter number 3311.

We look forward to walking with you!
