About Christopher Garcia

Dr. Christopher A. Garcia is a non-invasive cardiologist at Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates.

Dr. Garcia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pace Pforzheimer Honors College in New York with a Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine in 2012 from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He completed his internal medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital where he also served as chief medical resident of the internal medicine program. Dr. Garcia completed his cardiovascular fellowship training at NYU-Winthrop University Hospital in 2019. He has a passion for the evaluation and treatment of valvular heart disease, and for cardiovascular disease in the geriatric population.

Dr. Garcia is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Heart Association, and the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Garcia is bilingual in English and Spanish, and conversationally fluent in Japanese. In his private time, he enjoys writing and spending time with his wife and children.
