About Venkatesh Alapati
Dr. Venkatesh Alapati is an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist at Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates (HCA). He leads the Valve Center at HCA, where he is dedicated to treating patients with valvular heart disease.
He grew up in New York City and graduated from Stuyvesant High School. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at New York University. He completed medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. He trained in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. He completed his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He underwent advanced training in Structural Heart disease at the University of Miami.
He has published research articles in major cardiology journals and has presented at major cardiovascular meetings. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Medicine.
He prides himself in getting to know his patients and providing compassionate care for them. He puts his patients first and always acts in the patient’s best interests.
Outside work, he enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family.
