Dr. Bialy is a non-invasive cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. He completed his medical residency at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, New Jersey and Cardiology Fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. Dr. Bialy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Ted Bialy, MD, FACP, FACC
He has been in practice in Hunterdon County since 1988. Dr. Bialy is an Assistant Clinical Professor with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Bialy is married and has two children. He enjoys photography and traveling. He has very strong arts and cultural interests. His personal history includes performing as a concert violinist and working as a journalist.
Dr. Espinoza is an interventional cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center and currently the Director of Coronary Intervention. After completing residency training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Espinoza completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly MCP/Hahnemann University Hospitals) in Philadelphia. He was elected as Chief Cardiology Fellow during his training and also served as the elected Fellow Representative to the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine and is Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
Andrey Espinoza, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Espinoza is a specialist in the treatment of Peripheral and Carotid arterial disease. He has authored a number of scientific papers and is the co-author of the recently published text Carotid Artery Intervention: Fundamental Principles and Techniques. Dr. Espinoza is also involved in academic medicine and has participated in enrolling a number of patients in national research registries and ongoing clinical trials. Dr. Espinoza performed the first carotid stenting procedure in a community hospital in the State of New Jersey. He is currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
Dr. Espinoza resides in Flemington with his wife, Dr. Lisa Espinoza, daughter Nadia and son, Dimitri in Flemington. They enjoy travel, sports, reading and being loving parents.
Dr. Horiuchi is a non-invasive cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. He received a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rochester and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Hawaii. Internal Medicine Residency and Adult Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship were completed at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He has been in practice in Hunterdon County since 1990.
Jonathan K. Horiuchi, MD, FACC
Dr. Horiuchi was named Teacher of the Year by the HMC Family Medicine Residency program in 1999 and the HMC Physician Leadership Award in 2001. He is married and has two children. He spends his spare time parenting and is a Star Wars fan.
Dr. Kutscher is a non-invasive cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. He received a Bachelors of Art, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University in New York City along with Doctorate of Medicine from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He completed his residency training at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and his Cardiology Fellowship at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Kutscher is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He serves on the Cardiovascular Health Advisory Panel for the State of New Jersey. He is also a member of the Council of the American Heart Association on Clinical Cardiology.
Austin H. Kutscher, Jr., MD, FACC
Dr. Kutscher has served as Mayor of Flemington, NJ from 1994-2005. His memoir, Watching Walter Cronkite, Reflections on Growing Up in the 1950’s and 1960’s, was published this year.
Dr. Lind is a non-invasive cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. Dr. Lind completed his medical residency and Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is Board Certified in Echocardiography and Cardiovascular Disease.
Robert S. Lind, MD, FACC
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Dr. Lind moved to the United States after completing high school. While attending the College of William and Mary, he met his wife and they have three lovely daughters. The Lind family enjoys playing softball, tennis and rooting for the Yankees. Dr. Lind enjoys computers and playing the guitar.
Dr. Rudnick is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He then went on to Cardiology fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was voted "Teaching Fellow of the Year" by the house staff for 2002-2003. Dr. Rudnick returned to Temple University Hospital for advanced fellowship training in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

He and his wife, Robin, have two children. He enjoys reading, hiking, and cooking.
Dr. Schafranek is an interventional cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. After completing a residency training program in Internal Medicine at St. Vincents Hospital in Manhattan, he went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases & Hypertension and Interventional Cardiology at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, and is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology.
William Schafranek, MD, FACC, FSCAI
A native of New Jersey, Dr. Schafranek resides in Readington Township with his wife, Ludmila, and their three sons. He enjoys rooting for the New York Yankees and the New Jersey Devils. Fluent in Russian, he also enjoys reading about Russian history.
Dr. Starcevic is a non-invasive cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. Dr. Starcevic completed medical residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center of Richmond in Staten Island, New York, as well as Cardiology Fellowship at the Staten Island Campus of St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center of New York. Dr. Starcevic is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Dubravka Starcevic, MD, FACC
Dr. Starcevic enjoys traveling, music, exploring new horizons and treasures time with her husband and daughter. She has a special interest in women's heart disease and was awarded the Physician Leadership Award/Physician of the Year in 2005. Her favorite quote is: "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing," by Helen Keller.
Dr. Tonnessen is an interventional cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. He completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine at Seton Hall University where he was Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Tonnessen is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. He is the founder and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Hunterdon Medical Center.
Glen E. Tonnessen, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Tonnessen enjoys cooking and skiing, as well as traveling with his wife and two daughters. He is the Managing Physician of Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates.
Rosanne Diaz is a Physician Assistant with Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates. She completed her Masters of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Towson University in Maryland and she served as an Officer in the United States Army Reserves. Her experience as a Physician Assistant includes two years with a cardiology practice in Philadelphia, where she practiced inpatient Cardiology and Internal Medicine.

Jennifer Kusant, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant with Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant degree at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Her experience as a Physician Assistant includes 6 years of Internal Medicine and Cardiology in Summit, NJ. Her areas of special interest include Pacemaker and Internal Cardicac Defibrillator interrogation and troubleshooting.

Jennifer is a native of Delaware Township and resides there currently with her husband, Doug, and step-daughter, Kaela. She enjoys ballroom dancing, tennis, golf, travel and running.
Jonathan Rhoads, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant with Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates. Jonathan received his undergraduate degree from Messiah College and his Master of Health Science degree with a Certificate in Physician Assistant studies from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA. He has been a Physician Assistant for the past 5 years and has valuable experience in the areas of Pediatric Cardiology, Urgent Care Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine.

Katharine Judson-Yager graduated from Drexel/Hahnemann University Masters PA program in 2007. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder for her undergraduate studies. Katharine grew up in Boulder, Colorado and moved to New Jersey in 2008. She has been working as a cardiology PA since she graduated and has concentrated mainly on coronary artery disease. She has a newly developed interest in peripheral vascular disease (PAD).

Katharine, who goes by the nickname Kejy. She currently lives in Somerset and enjoys working on her house, cooking and spending time with her boyfriend, Jamil, and her dog, Sonny.
Angela Touhill, APN is a nurse practitioner with Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates. She receiver her Marster Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University and is board certified as a nurse practitioner in Acute Care and Adult Health. She has 8 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology.
Angela Touhill, APN
Angela resides in Union Township with her two wonderful daughters, Ella and Mia. She is a voracious reader who enjoys gardening, traveling and cooking for family and friends.
Lynda Hesse, RD, is a Nutritionist with Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates. Lynda received a degree in marketing from Rowan University and completed a didactic program in Foods and Nutrition at the College of St. Elizabeth in Madison, NJ. She previously spent three years as a clinical dietician at Hunterdon Medical Center with primary responsibility in the cardiac and intensive care units. Additionally, she has 14 years experience as a cooking teacher for Kings Cooking Studio. She has taught students at all age and skill levels and has developed specialized classes in low calorie cookery and for children with Type I diabetes.

Lynda currently lives in Bedminster, NJ with her two daughters and enjoys outdoor activities, gardening, ballet, modern dance and cooking for friends and loved ones.
